Sameer: Sir, I have completed my graduation in Marketing and have been working as a Sales Executive for the past three years. I am interested in reaching out to customers, generating new business, and achieving sales targets.
Interviewer: Very good! As a Sales Executive, what major goals have you achieved so far?
Sameer: Sir, last year, I achieved 120% of my sales target. I accomplished this by reaching out to new customers and strengthening relationships with existing ones.
Interviewer: Excellent! What steps should be taken to build good relationships with customers?
Sameer: Sir, the most important thing is to understand the customer’s needs. I personally reach out to them, resolve their issues, and provide them with special offers and updates from time to time.
Interviewer: Very good! If a customer is taking time to make a decision about a product or service, how would you convince them?
Sameer: First, I would explain the benefits of the product or service and how it can add value to them. Then, I would show them customer reviews and case studies to help them feel confident in making a decision.
Interviewer: Very good! How do you collaborate with your sales team?
Sameer: I conduct regular meetings where we discuss our sales progress, motivate each other, and solve problems together. I always encourage the team and stay united to achieve sales targets.
Interviewer: Very good! If you fail to meet your sales target, what would you do?
Sameer: If I fail to meet my sales target, I would first analyze where the shortfall occurred. Then, I would come up with new strategies and approaches to ensure that the target is met the next month.
Interviewer: Very good, Sameer! I really like your sales skills and ability to build customer relationships. Best of luck!
Sameer: Thank you, Sir!
