Interviewer: Hello Sameer! How are you?

Sameer: Hello Sir! I’m good, thank you. I’m excited to be here for this interview.

Interviewer: So, Sameer, tell me something about yourself.

Sameer: Sir, I have a degree in Creative Writing and Film Studies. For the past five years, I have been working in scriptwriting and story development. I have written scripts for various web series, short films, and digital content. I have experience in both fiction and non-fiction, especially in the drama and thriller genres.

Interviewer: Very good! Can you tell us more about your experience?

Sameer: Yes, Sir. I worked with a production house for three years, where I wrote scripts for television shows and web series. Additionally, I have worked as a freelance scriptwriter, where I got the opportunity to work on a variety of stories.

Interviewer: Excellent! Can you talk about a project where you learned the most?

Sameer: Yes, Sir. I wrote a script for a historical drama that required extensive research. I had to maintain factual accuracy while making the story engaging. This project helped me improve my research skills, character development, and narrative structure.

Interviewer: What is the most important skill to become a successful scriptwriter?

Sameer: Sir, storytelling ability, character development, dialogue writing, and visual narration are the most important skills. When reading a script, the audience should be able to visualize the scene.

Interviewer: What are the new trends in scriptwriting today?

Sameer: Due to digital platforms and OTT, short-form and web-friendly content is trending. Interactive storytelling, non-linear narratives, and dark psychological dramas are also gaining popularity.

Interviewer: Very good, Sameer! I like your approach and confidence. Best of luck!

Sameer: Thank you, Sir!
