Abhishek: Sir, I have completed my master’s in Marketing and Business Analytics. I have a keen interest in understanding consumer behavior and market trends. During my internship, I worked on data collection and analysis for different sectors.
Interviewer: Very good! Can you tell us about your internship experience?
Abhishek: Yes, Sir. I did my internship at an FMCG company, where my primary task was competitive analysis and consumer data collection. I developed data-driven insights that the company used to improve its marketing strategy.
Interviewer: Excellent! Can you talk about a project where you learned the most?
Abhishek: Yes, Sir. I worked on market research before launching a new product. I collected data through surveys and focus group interviews, which helped us gain deep insights into consumer preferences.
Interviewer: Very good! What tools and software are used in market research?
Abhishek: Sir, in market research, Google Analytics, Tableau, SPSS, Power BI, and SQL are widely used. Additionally, tools like Qualtrics and Brandwatch are used for surveys and social media data.
Interviewer: Great! If you are given a market problem to solve, how would you approach it?
Abhishek: First, I would clearly define the problem and gather the necessary data. Then, I would analyze the data, extract consumer insights, and present data-driven solutions.
Interviewer: Excellent! Final question, if you have limited data, how will you make a decision?
Abhishek: I would try to look for additional data sources, use assumptions and industry trends, and make a decision considering potential risks.
Interviewer: Very good, Abhishek! I like your approach and confidence. Best of luck!
Abhishek: Thank you, Sir!
