Conversation – 23

In this English Conversation, two friends, Nikhil and Sneha, are sharing their best childhood memories.

Sneha: Hello Nikhil! What’s your best childhood memory?

Nikhil: Hi Sneha! I remember visiting my grandparents’ house during summer vacations.

Sneha: Wow! What was special about it?

Nikhil: We used to pluck mangoes from trees, sleep on the terrace at night, and even swim in the river. Grandma would tell us lots of stories. That time was very special.

Sneha: That must have felt so good! I also loved listening to my grandma’s stories and swinging on the trees with my friends.

Nikhil: Yes, stories felt magical. Did you have any favorite games as a child?

Sneha: Yes, I used to play gilli-danda, collect marbles, and fly kites. Kite flying during Makar Sankranti was a different kind of fun.

Nikhil: Wow! We used to play all day. School holidays were so much fun. Playing hide and seek in the afternoons was the best.

Sneha: So true! Now those days are just memories.

Nikhil: Yes, but those memories will always stay in our hearts.

Sneha: Absolutely! Let’s meet sometime to relive those moments. We can also look at old photo albums.

Nikhil: That’s a great idea! Then we can talk more about our childhood days. And maybe even meet some of our childhood friends.

Sneha: Yes, and we can even play our old games again. It will feel like living those days again.

Nikhil: Absolutely! Let’s meet soon.

Sneha: Okay!
