Interview – 20

In this Interviewer, an interviewer and a candidate, Vivek, are discussing his interview for a Photographer position.

Interviewer: Hello Vivek! How are you?

Vivek: Hello Sir! I’m very good, thank you.

Interviewer: So, Vivek, tell me something about yourself.

Vivek: Sir, I have a degree in Photography and Visual Arts. For the past five years, I have been working in various types of photography, including portrait, landscape, wedding, and product photography. I have a deep interest in lighting, composition, and editing.

Interviewer: Very good! Can you tell us more about your experience?

Vivek: Yes, Sir. I worked for a media agency for three years, where my primary role was product and fashion photography. Additionally, I have done freelance photography for several weddings and corporate events. I also have experience in editing and post-production.

Interviewer: Excellent! Can you talk about a photography project where you learned the most?

Vivek: Yes, Sir. I worked on a wildlife photography project where we had to capture the best shots in natural light. This experience taught me how to adjust camera settings, react quickly, and capture the perfect moment.

Interviewer: What are the most important skills to become a successful photographer?

Vivek: Sir, composition, lighting control, understanding camera settings, editing skills, and storytelling are the most important skills. A great photograph is not just about technique but also about the art of telling a story.

Interviewer: What are the latest trends in photography today?

Vivek: In digital photography, drone photography, cinematic portraits, AI-powered editing, and mobile photography are rapidly gaining popularity. Also, due to social media platforms, short-form visual storytelling is becoming a major trend.

Interviewer: Very good, Vivek! I like your approach and confidence. Best of luck!
