Interview – 23

In this Interviewer, an interviewer and a candidate, Ajay, are discussing his interview for a Web Designer position.

Interviewer: Hello Ajay! How are you?

Ajay: Hello Sir! I’m good. Thank you.

Interviewer: So, Ajay, tell me something about yourself.

Ajay: Sir, I have completed my diploma in web designing and have been working as a web designer for the past three years. I have good experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX designing. I have designed multiple websites and web applications.

Interviewer: Very good! Can you tell us about your internship experience?

Ajay: Yes, Sir. I did my internship at a digital agency where I worked on responsive website design, WordPress customization, and UI prototyping.

Interviewer: Excellent! Can you talk about a project where you learned the most?

Ajay: Yes, Sir. I worked on a user-friendly and mobile-responsive design for an e-commerce website. Through this, I learned in-depth UI/UX principles, which improved user experience and reduced bounce rate.

Interviewer: Very good! What is the difference between UI and UX in web designing?

Ajay: Yes, Sir. UI (User Interface) is the part of design that includes visual elements like buttons, icons, typography, and colors. UX (User Experience) focuses on improving how users interact with the website.

Interviewer: Great! How would you design an SEO-friendly website?

Ajay: Sir, I would optimize the website’s loading speed, implement a mobile-friendly design, and follow clean coding practices. Additionally, I would use an SEO-friendly URL structure and proper meta tags.

Interviewer: Excellent! Final question, if you have a short deadline for a project, how will you complete it on time?

Ajay: I would prioritize tasks, coordinate effectively with the team, and use additional resources if necessary to complete the project on time.

Interviewer: Very good, Ajay! I like your approach and confidence. Best of luck!

Ajay: Thank you, Sir! This interview was a great experience.
