Interviewer: Very good! What inspired you to work in the customer service industry?
Sonia: Sir, I love helping people. When I resolve customers’ issues and see them satisfied, it gives me a sense of fulfillment. That’s why I chose customer service as my career.
Interviewer: Very good! If a customer is angry and complaining, how would you handle them?
Sonia: First, I would patiently listen to them and try to understand their concern. Then, I would reassure them that we will do our best to resolve their issue. I would remain calm and polite, and if needed, I would seek guidance from my senior.
Interviewer: Excellent! What are the essential skills required in customer service?
Sonia: Sir, effective communication, problem-solving, patience, empathy, and time management are crucial for customer service.
Interviewer: Very good! Can you share a challenge you faced in customer service?
Sonia: Yes, Sir. Once, a customer was very angry due to a delivery delay. I patiently listened, apologized, and offered alternative solutions such as a special discount. Eventually, they were satisfied, and their trust in the company remained intact.
Interviewer: Very good! Final question, if a customer makes an impossible request, what would you do?
Sonia: I would politely explain that we cannot fulfill that request, but I would inform them about the available alternatives.
