Rajesh: Sir, my name is Rajesh Sharma. I have completed my bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Delhi University, and I have a keen interest in banking and finance. During my college years, I worked on multiple projects related to banking operations and financial analysis. Additionally, I completed a six-month internship at a private bank, where I gained hands-on experience in customer account management and loan processing.
Interviewer: What inspired you to work in the banking sector?
Rajesh: Sir, banking is a stable and rapidly growing industry, which is the backbone of the economy. I have a deep interest in financial matters and want to assist people in managing their financial needs. Additionally, the banking sector offers career growth and job security, making it an ideal field for me.
Interviewer: What are the responsibilities of a Bank PO?
Rajesh: Sir, the primary responsibilities of a Bank PO include managing banking operations, providing customer services, handling the loan approval process, implementing bank policies, and training new employees. Additionally, a Bank PO plays a key role in financial reporting, fraud prevention, and improving customer relations.
Interviewer: What do you think are the biggest challenges in the banking sector?
Rajesh: Sir, the banking sector faces multiple challenges, including cybersecurity, non-performing assets (NPAs), evolving technological trends, and customer satisfaction. With the rise of digital banking, data security has become a major concern. Additionally, increasing NPAs affect the financial stability of banks. I would like to address these challenges through technology and innovative banking solutions.
Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
Rajesh: Sir, in the next five years, I see myself as a senior banking professional with expertise in credit analysis, branch management, and customer service. I would like to contribute to the banking industry by introducing innovations and developing digital banking solutions.
Interviewer: What is your biggest weakness?
Rajesh: Sir, sometimes I try to be a perfectionist in my work, which can lead to spending more time than necessary on tasks. However, I am now focusing on improving my time management and prioritization skills.
