English – One hot day, an ant was very thirsty. She went to a river to drink water. As she leaned over to take a sip, she slipped and fell into the water. The current was strong, and she started to drown. The ant cried for help.

A dove sitting on a tree nearby saw the ant struggling in the water. The kind dove quickly plucked a leaf and dropped it into the river near the ant. The ant climbed onto the leaf and floated safely to the shore. She thanked the dove with all her heart and promised to help her one day.

A few days later, a hunter came into the forest. He saw the dove sitting on the same tree and quietly aimed his gun to shoot her. The ant saw the hunter and recognized the dove who had once saved her life.

Without wasting time, the ant ran toward the hunter and bit him on the foot. The hunter shouted in pain and missed his aim. The dove heard the noise and quickly flew away to safety.

The dove was safe because of the ant’s timely help. Both the ant and the dove had helped each other when it was most needed.

हिंदी – एक गर्म दिन की बात है, एक चींटी बहुत प्यासी थी। वह पानी पीने के लिए नदी के किनारे गई। जैसे ही वह पानी पीने झुकी, वह फिसलकर नदी में गिर गई। पानी का बहाव तेज था और वह डूबने लगी। वह मदद के लिए चिल्लाई।

पास के पेड़ पर बैठा एक कबूतर यह सब देख रहा था। वह बहुत दयालु था। उसने तुरंत एक पत्ता तोड़ा और नदी में गिरा दिया। चींटी उस पत्ते पर चढ़ गई और धीरे-धीरे किनारे तक पहुँच गई। उसने कबूतर का धन्यवाद किया और वादा किया कि एक दिन वह उसकी मदद जरूर करेगी।

कुछ दिन बाद, एक शिकारी जंगल में आया। उसने उसी पेड़ पर कबूतर को देखा और उस पर बंदूक तान दी। चींटी ने यह देखा और पहचान लिया कि यह वही कबूतर है जिसने कभी उसकी जान बचाई थी।

वह जल्दी से दौड़कर शिकारी के पैर में काटने लगी। शिकारी दर्द से चिल्लाया और उसका निशाना चूक गया। कबूतर शोर सुनकर उड़ गया और बच गया।
