English – Once upon a time, in a lush green forest, lived four friends—a deer, a crow, a mouse, and a tortoise. They were very close and spent their time together near a lake. Each of them was different, but they trusted one another deeply.

One day, the deer went deep into the forest to graze. Unfortunately, he got trapped in a hunter’s net. He tried hard to escape, but the net was too strong. He cried for help.

Hearing his cries, the crow flew over the trees and saw his friend trapped. The crow quickly flew back to inform the mouse and the tortoise. Without wasting time, the mouse rushed to the spot and started gnawing at the net with his sharp teeth. The tortoise followed slowly behind.

Within a short time, the mouse managed to cut the net and free the deer. The friends were overjoyed.

But suddenly, the tortoise, who had just arrived, was spotted by the hunter. The hunter was angry that his prey escaped, so he caught the slow-moving tortoise and put him in his sack.

The deer, crow, and mouse quickly made a plan to save the tortoise. The deer ran ahead and lay down on the hunter’s path, pretending to be dead. When the hunter saw the deer, he thought, “At least I’ll take this one!” and put the sack down to catch the deer.

Meanwhile, the crow flew down and pecked the hunter’s eyes. While the hunter was distracted, the mouse gnawed open the sack, and the tortoise slowly slipped out.

Then, the deer jumped up and ran away into the forest. The crow flew off, the mouse ran into the bushes, and the tortoise crawled to safety.

All the friends met again under their favorite tree and celebrated their friendship.

हिंदी – एक हरे-भरे जंगल में चार दोस्त रहते थे – हिरन, कौवा, चूहा और कछुआ। वे चारों गहरे दोस्त थे और अक्सर झील के किनारे मिलकर समय बिताते थे। सभी अलग-अलग थे, लेकिन उनमें गहरा विश्वास था।

एक दिन हिरन जंगल में चरते-चरते बहुत दूर चला गया। वहाँ वह एक शिकारी के जाल में फँस गया। उसने बहुत कोशिश की, लेकिन जाल मज़बूत था। वह मदद के लिए चिल्लाने लगा।

उसकी आवाज़ सुनकर कौवा उड़कर पेड़ों के ऊपर से गया और हिरन को जाल में फँसा देखा। वह तुरंत वापस आया और चूहे और कछुए को सारी बात बताई।

चूहा बिना समय गंवाए दौड़ा और जाल को काटने लगा। कछुआ धीरे-धीरे उनके पीछे-पीछे चल पड़ा। कुछ ही देर में चूहे ने जाल काट दिया और हिरन को आज़ाद कर दिया। सभी बहुत खुश हुए।

तभी शिकारी वहाँ पहुँचा और कछुए को देख लिया। चूँकि हिरन भाग चुका था, शिकारी ने गुस्से में कछुए को पकड़ लिया और बोरे में डाल लिया।

अब तीनों दोस्तों ने मिलकर एक योजना बनाई। हिरन शिकारी के रास्ते में जाकर ज़मीन पर लेट गया और मरा होने का नाटक किया। शिकारी ने सोचा, “चलो कम से कम इसे तो ले जाऊँ।” उसने बोरा नीचे रखा और हिरन की तरफ बढ़ा।

तभी कौवा उड़कर शिकारी की आँखों पर चोंच मारने लगा। शिकारी परेशान हो गया। चूहा आया और बोरे को काट दिया। कछुआ धीरे-धीरे बाहर निकल आया।

हिरन भी अचानक उठकर भाग गया। कौवा उड़ गया, चूहा झाड़ियों में छिप गया और कछुआ रेंगता हुआ सुरक्षित जगह पहुँच गया।

फिर चारों दोस्त अपने पसंदीदा पेड़ के नीचे मिले और अपनी दोस्ती की जीत का जश्न मनाया।
