Translation Exercise - 11
In a small village nestled between green hills, there lived a boy named Aman.
Aman was kind, quiet, and always ready to help others.
Unlike other children, he didn’t talk much, but his actions spoke louder than his words.
One day, a big storm hit the village.
Trees fell, houses were damaged, and people were frightened.
The next morning, when the storm had passed, everyone came out to see the damage.
Without saying a word, Aman picked up a broken shovel and began clearing the roads.
He helped the old lady across the street fix her broken fence.
He brought water for the injured man down the lane.
He gathered the children and taught them how to clean their surroundings.
People saw him, but didn’t say much.
They were surprised to see how much this quiet boy was doing.
A week passed.
The village slowly began to return to normal.
One day, the village head called a meeting.
He said, “This week, someone silently helped many of us. Do you know who?”
Everyone looked around. Then, one by one, they stood up.
“The boy who fixed my fence,” said the old lady.
“The one who brought me water,” said the injured man.
Soon, everyone realized they were all talking about Aman.
Aman stood there, a little shy, a little proud.
The village head smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder.
He said, “You don’t need big words to bring change. Actions speak louder than words.”
From that day on, Aman was called the “Silent Helper” of the village.
He became an inspiration not only for children, but for everyone.
