Translation Exercise - 19

Aman and his little sister Neelam had always loved adventures. One day, their grandfather told them that their ancestors had buried a hidden treasure deep inside the forest. Hearing the story, the children got excited immediately. The next morning, they packed their bags and headed into the jungle with an old map given by their grandfather. The path was tough — thick trees, bushes, and sometimes crossing rivers. Along the way, they faced many challenges. Once they got stuck in a deep swamp, and Aman took off his shoes to help Neelam out. Another time, heavy rain poured down, but they didn’t lose courage or stray from their goal. After hours, the map led them to a large old tree with a small metal box buried under its roots. Together they opened it and found gold coins, some jewelry, and an old diary inside. The diary revealed that the real treasure was not wealth but the wisdom of their ancestors and family love. Aman and Neelam realized that the true treasure was the experiences and memories they had made together. When they returned home, they told their grandfather about their discovery. He smiled and said, “There is no treasure greater than courage and patience.”
