Translation Exercise - 9

Arjun was an engineering student at a prestigious college. Known for his cheerful nature and helpful attitude, he was well-loved by his friends. They often studied together, played games, and shared many joyful moments. Despite the fun, they took their studies seriously.

One day, during a game, Arjun’s close friend Amit broke his leg. The doctor advised that Amit would need at least a month of rest. With exams just around the corner, this news shook Amit’s confidence. He had always been a top student, but now he worried that he might not be able to perform well.

Seeing Amit’s distress, Arjun immediately stepped in and said, “Don’t worry about anything. Focus solely on your studies. I’ll take care of everything else — bringing you meals, handling your daily needs.”

With Arjun’s constant support, Amit gradually resumed his studies. Arjun came every day, helped him with notes, and explained difficult concepts. When exam day arrived, Amit gave his papers with full dedication.

The results were outstanding. Teachers were amazed at how well Amit performed despite his injury. They praised Arjun’s dedication and encouraged other students to learn from his example.

This experience strengthened their friendship even more. Amit recovered fully, and the two became inseparable friends, supporting each other through thick and thin.
